The BCCI’s vice-president, Rajeev Shukla, said in May that the Indian team would only go to Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy if the government there agreed.

A BCCI source told ANI that the Indian team will not go to Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Instead, they will ask the International Cricket Council to play the games in Sri Lanka or Dubai.

It will be held in Pakistan from February to March 2025, which is next year. Pakistan and India don’t get along well, so they haven’t played any cricket events there since the 2008 Asia Cup.

From December 2012 to January 2013, a bilateral series took place in India. It was the last bilateral series between the two countries. Both teams have only played each other in ICC events and the Asia Cup since then.

There has been a lot of uncertainty about India’s ability to attend the future ICC Champions Trophy 2025 because of the way the two countries are connected.

India was asked by the Pakistan Cricket Board to play all of its games in one place. Lahore was picked as the place where India would play all of their games, according to ESPNcricinfo. To be clear, the Indian board is not excited about the idea of going to Pakistan.

When asked about India’s involvement in the Champions Trophy 2025, a BCCI source told ANI, “India will not go to Pakistan for the tournament.” Will tell the ICC that its games should be held in Sri Lanka or Dubai.

The BCCI’s vice-president, Rajeev Shukla, said in May that the Indian team would only go to Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 if the government there agreed.

To ANI, Shukla said, “When it comes to the Champion Trophy, we will do what the Indian Government tells us to do.” Our team only goes when the Indian government lets us. Because of this, we will follow what the Indian government says.

The same thing happened with the Asia Cup last year, which was supposed to be held in Pakistan.

But PCB had to use a mix of strategies when they hosted the Asia Cup last year. All of India’s games, including those against Pakistan, were played in Sri Lanka.

Indian won the tournament’s final, which took place in Colombo. Pakistan had said that they might use a mixed strategy to go to the ODI World Cup in India the previous year, but no one really thought about it.

The last time the Champions Trophy was held was in 2017, and Pakistan won it again.
