Jasprit Bumrah Misses Champions Trophy 2025 Due to Injury

India’s star fast bowler, Jasprit Bumrah, will not play in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. He suffered a lower back injury during the 5th Test against Australia in Sydney. Due to this, he could not bowl in the second innings.

The BCCI confirmed that Bumrah was unable to recover in time. He was at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) for treatment, but his injury did not heal as expected. When India first announced their squad, Bumrah was included. However, his injury forced the selectors to make a late change.

Harshit Rana Joins the India Squad

Varun Chakravarthy Replaces Yashasvi Jaiswal
